Look Out For Topher Kavook

Back with another single, versatile artist Topher Kavook shows us his promising talents. Topher Kavook grew up in Portland, ME playing guitar in jazz clubs and learning music with artists from a variety of genres; alternative rock, R&B, and funk music. This upbringing helped him to create a  new sound for himself that incorporates many genres as well. Having played gigs around the music scene of Portland since he was 12, Topher has become used to playing live even with little music released. Now that he his building in his collection, his fans get see the different sides to his music. Not staying in one specific genre, Topher’s music sounds like its in its own lane.

Looking to provide real messages within his releases, “Value” specifically does a great job of this. Using his lyrics to motivate his listeners, Topher wants to push those to live in the moment. He speaks upon the value of time itself, making sure to live in the present, while having high ambition for the future. Another unique characteristic Kavook brings to the table with this release is the way it is structured. With one chrous and an outro bridge, this shows Topher’s willingness to innovate and change convention. He also plays around with the pitch of is song, something we rarely see on the underground circuit.
