Jay ShepHard - From Struggling Artist To Billboard Hitmaker

Jay ShepHard is a Bahamian-born musician who currently resides in Miami, Florida. Growing up in The Bahamas exposed him to a diverse range of musical genres, which influenced his music and led him to fuse reggae with other genres like hip-hop, R&B, and pop. He has been persistent and patient in his musical journey, going from a struggling artist to a Billboard recording artist. 

Jay ShepHard’s strengths as an artist lie in his unique and distinct voice, which sets him apart from other artists. However, he has also faced challenges related to musical cultural acceptance due to his Bahamian accent translating differently from a Jamaican accent when singing reggae.
His biggest performance to date was at “Best of the Best” and “Miami Carnival” in 2021, where he performed on both stages in the same day. His biggest accomplishment thus far was his participation in the Billboard charting “Tropical Houses Cruises to Jamaica” album. 

Jay ShepHard’s latest single, “Go Get It,” was released on April 28, 2023. He plans to spearhead an intense marketing strategy to make this single the most exposed and highest streaming single he’s released so far. The positive message of this single is relevant and necessary to all, and tentative plans are in place for the production of a music video related to the single. His previous releases include “No Surrender,” “Real One,” “Guide Me,” and “Miss You,” among others.
